“Da Island Way” is Concord’s premier Polynesian dance and Music studio founded by David Bustamante and his family in 1993. DIW has left their mark in competitions and performances from Tahiti, Hawaii, & throughout California in group & solo choreography, drumming, & music competitions.

This Concord based family dance studio entertains throughout the year from county fairs, corporate party luaus, private parties, weddings, birthdays and large events.

Da Island Way teaches, promotes, and performs the dances of Hawaii and Tahiti.

With Tahiti as our major source of influence, the studio has emphasized both traditional and contemporary styles of dance.

Our talented team of instructors lead by artistic director, Evlyn Bustamante have established a reputation of quality instruction & performances while creating an atmosphere of family at the studio.

It is their philosophy to maintain a very Ohana oriented atmosphere, while also keeping a high caliber of expectation out of their students.

Da Island Way is proud to be from Concord, “Where Families Come First.” The studio entertains for local senior centers and participates in community service for Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano, One Warm Coat, & Toys for Tots.
